Chiari and Syringomyelia Australia started in 2009 by Kirstin Maltby as a small Facebook group. It has grown since then to include four more behind the scenes hero's running a group with closing on 1,300 members and the biggest and most active Australian support group.
Our Vision.
Our vision for this group is to continue to support those people in Australia (and New Zealand) with these conditions or support loved ones by offering a space to allow people meet like minded individuals and receive up to date medical information to use. We also aim to raise awareness of these conditions by increasing the visibility of this condition in the general population and the medical field.
